California Divorce Council will calculate the
California Guideline Support
for you. Guideline Support is what the judge will most likely
award to the custodial parent. This figure is determined by the
income of both parties, the amount of time the children spend with each
parent, along with other factors. You may accept the Guideline
Support amount, or use this information as a tool for your
negotiations.
It is always better when the parties can reach an
agreement as to the amount of support to be paid. The judge
usually accepts the amount of support to which the parties agree, even
if that amount is zero. There is generally less resentment and
more willingness to pay when the amount of money changing hands has
been mutually decided by the parties involved, rather than by the judge.
If you would like to know what you can expect from the court, give us a call at (818) 784-8844 to have Guideline Support calculated for you. This program can calculate Spousal Support for you, as well.
The cost for a California Guideline Support
calculation is only $45.00. Credit cards are accepted over the
telephone. Upon completion, you will receive a copy of the
"printout" for your case or for your personal records.
